What is The Lake House and its mission?

The Lake House is a gathering place for people touched by cancer. We offer support, social, educational, and wellness services for cancer survivors (including those in treatment), caregivers and family, and those who are grieving. Our mission is to provide a safe harbor to support, educate, and empower those touched by cancer.

How long has The Lake House been around?

The Lake House opened its doors on May 1, 2011.

How can I attend programs at The Lake House?

Fill out an application to become a member and check the calendar for programs and events. ANYONE touched by cancer can be a member.

Is there a cost for membership?

No. All programs at The Lake House are offered free of charge.

How is The Lake House funded?

The Lake House is mostly funded by private donors, both corporations and individuals. Some funding comes from grants. The Lake House conducts fundraising events yearround to fund its programs.

How can I help The Lake House?

How do I become a volunteer at The Lake House?

Contact the Program Coordinator for an application and to set up a meeting to discuss volunteer opportunities.
